Community Historical Society Identity
Williams Township Historical Society was created in 1977 by a committee of history-loving residents in this beautiful community, founded in 1750. When this grassroots organization started becoming more involved with community activities sponsored by other organizations, they needed a logo to represent their singular history.
History
When Williams Township Historical Society began to participate in more regional events like the Lehigh Valley Passport to History, they decided they needed an official logo.
Process
Pritchard Design reviewed the township’s history and most impressive historical buildings to create this simple graphic of an iconic waterwheel house. The water implies the Delaware River and smaller bodies of water which flow through the township.
Value in community
We value community non-profits and strive to represent their vision in all materials so they can put forward a clear message to viewers.
