One Joyful Choir
DEETER, Strategic Public Relations and Advertising hired Pritchard Design to develop a striking logo for a benefit concert by multiple Presbyterian choirs at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center. Pritchard Design’s challenge was to instantly communicate the spirit and energy of the event to the general public. An immediately recognizable symbol – choir robes – was depicted in rainbow colors to implicitly convey the diversity of performers and audience. Pritchard Design then incorporated the logo into a series of promotional materials with a consistent design identity.

One Joyful Choir combined 450 choristers from Presbytery of Philadelphia churches in a joint performance at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. A major fundraiser for Presbytery mission projects, the event included a celebration concert and a pre-concert festival.

Pritchard Design created the logo and then expanded its colors and simple look for all of the event’s promotional materials, including a series of ads, posters, web site, and concert program.
